Seniors
Not just a year older ........ a year better!
Mental Health & Maintaining Mental Fitness
There is no reason ageing cannot be a positive experience with the right mindset, but for too many it can be distressing, lonely and depressing.
Depression and poor mental health are not inevitable in older age - staying mentally fit includes accessing support before things become too difficult. Seeing a psychologist can be an empowering experience for older adults - it’s never too late to maintain brain and memory health and reduce depression and anxiety - read Tony's informative article on "Mental Fitness for Seniors - Slowing The Brain's Inevitable Decline: No IFs, ANDs, or BUTs".

Through assessment, counselling, and education, Tony helps Seniors navigate the sometimes difficult and many later-life adjustments, and maintain their mental health.

With a GP referral, every Australian is eligible for Medicare rebate of A$96.65 per session on up to 10 mental health sessions per calendar year - ask Tony how you too can apply for this financial support. Seniors with low-income card and a mental health care plan are bulk billed - meaning this counselling service is provided to them at no cost.
